April 21, 2007 - Prayer

So far this round has been worse. She has thrown up multiple times, including twice this evening. She is also starting to lose her hair. Please pray for her. It is hard to put into words how it feels to hold this little girl while she cries and vomits in the middle of the night.

Hi,
Your little girl is gorgeous. My little girl was dx with NB stage 3 last year, when she was 7 months old. She´s off treatment and ned since August 2006. It´s hard to see our kids go through this, but keep in mind that it´ll all come to an end and your little girl will beat this disease. Children dx before the age of one have a very good prognosis. I have some articles if you want. You are in my prayers.

awe! I am sooo sorry to hear that your little Keira is not doing so well with this round. =( I hope that she starts to feel better soon!

I couldn't agree more with Sarah B. We will keep praying for Keira and she will beat this horrible beast! =)

I am so sorry to hear that Keira is having a hard time with this round. What meds did she get this time? Charli didn't do so hot after round 2 also...she got sick two times. Her hair hasn't started to fall out, but imagine it is only a matter of time.

We were in Omaha this weekend, she had her first transfusion.

Just wanted you to know that I am thinking about your family, and praying for the best. I hope she kicks the 'ickies' soon, and feels better ASAP!

(PS. what a trooper for doing the chemo in the clinic for so long! I don't know how YOU do it either...your strength and faith are inspirational.)

So sorry to hear she's been sick. We're praying for you all everyday. She is such a trooper to hang in there so long at the hospital! Wow! Know that you are in our prayers and we hope she gets to feeling better. Love, Rebecca Jones

I am really praying for this sweet little baby and I know it is silly but every time it is 1:23 in school and in the early morning I make a wish like you are supposed to. Every night I wish until it is 1:24 for her. Then I pray. :)

About Me

At the age of 10 months, Keira was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. She has completed 4 rounds of chemotherapy and 2 surgeries. She has had a wonderful response to therapy and now has only a small mass left in her chest.
