July 27, 2007 - Scans scheduled

Keira will have her follow up CT on August 1, 2007. We are glad to have a date and hope that this scan will allow us to gain some direction for the next phase of her treatment. Our hope is that we will see that the tumor is shrinking and that she will be done with treatment and we will be allowed to watch her closely. The alternative is that she will need another surgery with at least a couple more rounds of chemo. Charli - another little girl with Neuroblastoma (you can follow her link on the right), is also getting her follow up scan on August 1st. Please be praying for both of these little girls that these scans will bring good news!

Thank you for walking with us through this. We value your prayers, e-mails, and kind messages.

Jason, Erin, and Keira Grace

thank you for including Charli in your post. I haven't even allowed myself to go there yet - trying to focus on her birthday party this weekend...without the stress and worry of the tests. (is that even possible!!)

not a day has gone by that you are not in my thoughts...

My thoughts are with you as you wait for the results of the upcoming scan. I hope to hear the news that Kiera's tumor is shrinking. Thanks for updating.

Hi Erin, Jason & Keira,
We wanted to leave you a quick note to let you know that we threw a lucky penny in the fountain at the zoo today. Our wish was for wonderful news following Keira's upcoming scans. Our prayers will be the same! Hugs!!!

Hey Jason & Erin,
I wore my Keira shirt in Colorado this summer for three weeks and got to ask for prayers of random people there who noticed my shirt. I am praying constantly for complete healing. She looks beautiful. Love you all - and can't wait to see you, Jason.

just wanted to stop by and let you know I am thinking of you today...thinking about what the next few days will bring us.

No matter the results God has a plan for our girls, our families, and our lives. I am trying to stand strong in knowing this...and wanted you to know that I have never given up hope for you as well.

love from nebraska...

I am going to continue praying for you as I pray for my dear granddaughter, Charli Ann. The thought of childhood cancer tears me up and I think that our prayers will be answered!!! Kiera reminds me so much of Charli Ann and I just know how many people she has that love her so much. She has touched many lives already in Nebraska. Sandra Borg

About Me

At the age of 10 months, Keira was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma. She has completed 4 rounds of chemotherapy and 2 surgeries. She has had a wonderful response to therapy and now has only a small mass left in her chest.
